Denver's 2026 Precinct Caucus is an important event for the Republican Party's future in Colorado. It's your chance to nominate conservative candidates, elect key leaders, and build a platform that champions freedom, prosperity, and traditional values. What is Caucus?

The Caucus is the first step in the party organization process, leadership elections, and candidate nominations. They occur every two years during the even-numbered years.

Why Participate in the Republican Caucus?

The Precinct Caucus is the foundational process that empowers the Denver Republican Party. Whether your passion is cutting taxes, defending Second Amendment rights, securing our borders, promoting school choice, or fostering economic freedom and limited government, this is your opportunity to drive real change. This isn’t just a caucus—it’s a reflection of what we believe in.

The caucus will include:

  1. Electing Precinct Committee Person (PCPs): Two people are elected to fill the position of “Precinct Committee Person”, often known as a PCP. These are the leaders of the precinct. They are sometimes also known as precinct chairs. These two PCPs serve a term of two years, up to and through the next caucus. PCPs also serve as members of the county’s Central Committee, which elects all county party leaders, and is the administrative political governing body for the party in the county.   2. Selecting Delegates: Delegates and alternates are elected to the County Assembly. These delegates and alternates will represent your precinct at the County Assembly, State Legislative Assemblies, and will elect delegates and alternates from the State Assembly and/or Conventions.

  3. Proposing Resolutions: Caucus participants can also submit and vote on resolutions for consideration at the County and State Assemblies

How to Understand Your Voter Registration

Step 1

After navigating to the Secretary of State's website, enter your first name, last name, zip code, and birthday to look up your voter registration.

​If no voter registration is found, please check that what you entered is correct. If so, please contact your County Clerk & Recorder.
